Sibrin Village

· Byblos

Sibrin is one the last standing villages that features the dark memory of the famine that struck Mount Lebanon during WWI.

The inhabitants abandoned the village during the famine, some say by boat, never to be heard of again.
The site holds some 10 houses and a church, with wells, olive press and tombs.
