Majdel-Anjar Tower

The crusader tower of Majdel Anjar was built around the 11th century to control the trading routes between Lebanon and Syria.

When Salah El Dine El Ayoubi invaded syria at the beginning of the 12th Century, his army converted the crusader tower into a Minaret, and is today part of Omar Bin Khattab Mosque.
