The Hamidiya Clock Tower is located on the top of the Grand Serail hill in the heart of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
Designed by the famous Lebanese architect Yussef Aftimos, and built by the end of the 1800's during the reign of Sultan Abd El Hamid II, the Hamidiyeh clock tower promotes the elegant and unique Ottoman architecture.
The tower is a 5 story structure, measuring 25m of height, and is one of 3 clock towers built during the reign of sultan Abd El Hamid II (Beirut, Tripoli, Haifa)
